Sylvie Walker

Sylvie Walker is a fransaskois "prairie-folk" singer-songwriter based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. With a soft and fluid voice, she creates a world that is both charming and sincere, echoing the sounds of Andy Shauf. Her compositions are rooted in both personal and collective experiences, exploring deep themes such as grief in all its forms. With a delicate touch of humour, she tackles subjects often considered taboo, such as French-Canadian history, Catholic faith, and death. In 2013, she won the SOCAN Award for Song of the Year at the Granby International Song Festival (FICG) for her song "Ti cœur." She has just released her first single "Cimetière," which will appear on her upcoming EP Mon Doux Seigneur, due out on February 21.

Mario Lepage

Mario Lepage is an award winning French Canadian multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, songwriter and performer from the centre of the Canadian prairies. Better known for his creative project Ponteix which distills hypnotic grooves while skillfully blending psyche-pop-electronic with the melancholy of RnB and indie rock.

Originating from a small french community nestled in the Saskatchewan prairies, Lepage’s connection to the land and his Francophone heritage have both heavily influenced his music and creative process. He is a firm believer that anything is achievable and has always been a very resourceful creator. Having spent more than a decade experimenting on a variety of instruments including drums, bass, keyboard, synth, guitar and vocals, Lepage has developed a knack for seeing the bigger picture in music and loves combining different musical elements together to create intricate song arrangements.

When working with artists and clients, Lepage aims to create a safe space for his collaborators to freely express their vision in order to fully realize their creative goals.
